Remote'EmAll 1.03beta - Cool stuff

Winamp, MPC and VLC Remote program for (J2ME Java MIDP 2.0) Mobile phones

Few ideas what you could do with this:

• Stream music straight to your mobile phone
  • Install shoutcast server to your PC
  • Get Internet Radio software to your mobile
  • Control Winamp music with Remote'EmAll
  • Tested and works!

• With perl socket-server you can control your firewall
  • Make custom command to socket server which runs a batch script on your PC
  • There is already an example in socket-server how to run scripts
  • Parameter it takes, is ip-address which is by default handled to sub-routine
  • You can then open Winamp, MPC, VLC and Shoutcast firewall ports to only that ip-address, that just made connection to socket-server
  • Tested and works!

• With VLC, stream video to network (or even to your mobile)
  • Control media and VLC with Remote'EmALl
  • Not tested yet.

• Set tv-recordings to your computer (socket-server)

• Do what ever you like to!
  • Just remember to be paranoid with security issues!
